いつもの大みそかよりも、暖かい感じ。
年賀状書きなどは終わっていたので、それほど日常することは変わらない。

だんだん今年も終わりに近づいている。
今年もオンデマンド製本の手順の場数を踏んだということと、英語の勉強がだいぶ進んできたことが個人的には大きな出来事。

テレビを見ていたら草の種が飛んできた

ふわふわ飛んできたものが何かと確かめたら、草の種のようだ。
右手について、とまった。

そろそろ来年のカレンダー

通販でカレンダーを買っておいた。
ここの数年買っているタイプのもの。
明日、オンデマンド製本会社から、チェック本が届くというメールがあった。

240ページ分の校正プリント

日曜日に小冊子詩集のチェック本を製本発注した。
今年、来年と1冊ずつ詩集を出すつもりだが、小詩集『ぐわらん洞』がきれいにできたので、この形式で出して次の段階で200ページほどの詩集にまとめる方向がよさそうに思って、校正プリントを作った。120ページ分の詩作品の校正刷りと、120ページの小説（小説『あれ』の1話）の校正刷りである。
『あれ』は第1巻（第1話「なめくじキーホルダー」、第2話「昆虫弁当」、第3話「彩りきのこ」の3話を収録、348ページ）、昨年2月に刊行している。
第2巻（第4話「臍に溜まる綿埃」、第5話「題名未公開」、第6話「題名未公開」の3話を収録）
と続いていく。の第5話（120ページ）を2月あたりに作るので、そのための校正刷り。 になる。

テント食堂

今日は外で仕事していた。
変に暖かい気候。
写真は、前回のblogの続きで、このテントの下ではものが食べられるようになっていた。入場料1000円ということだけあって、演芸があった。

クリスマスリース

3つのblogシステムを巡回しはじめて、何周目だろう。
先日の神宮外苑のクリスマスマーケットで見た、クリスマスリースの写真。
詩集を作るので、徐々に推敲して、分冊で出して200ページほどの1冊にするというやり方をとることにした。

そろそろ忘年会のシーズン。

今日は、神宮外苑のイチョウ並木の奥の広場で、「クリスマス・マーケット」というのをやっているというので、行ってみた。

When writing something creative, I feel more comfortable with vertical composition.
I always use LibreOffice Writer to write in vertical format. I set it up with two columns like the following, so that I can fit four sheets of manuscript paper with 400 characters each on this single page.

While Word is commonly used on Windows, LibreOffice Writer can be installed for free on Windows as well.

Paper Refill

英語の勉強

記憶力などを活性化させるために英語の勉強を、数年前からやっている。

Studying English


I have been studying English for several years now in order to activate my memory and other cognitive abilities. So, I plan to incorporate this direction into my learning. I also feel like my mind is utilizing imaginative skills in that area as I write poetry and critiques.

Cheap Tomatoes

Upgrading Debian

I upgraded the Linux on the "Urokocity" server from buster to bullseye.

Awk One-Liner

The idea came to mind to translate all the "Weekly Poems" available on Aozora Bunko into English using AI and compile them into a single book. Since the text file had accidentally gone missing, I decided to use chatGPT to combine them into one file.

First, since the character code was shift-s, I converted it to utf-8. Then, I removed all the HTML tags. Finally, I consolidated over 200 text files into one.

Let's start with step 3. This can be done with a single command line. I'll add it here tomorrow as it's difficult to write it down now.

もう、あらゆる創作はAIで作ったものとの境目はわからない。AIでこねくり回すことに加えて実際人間が推敲してこねくり回して、果たして驚くべきものができるかどうか？　やってみる価値がある、というのではなく、すでに競争が始まったのではないだろうか。

下北沢を歩く

久しぶりに下北沢を歩いた。
高架線になって「開かずの踏切問題」が解消されている。
しゃれた古着を売る店がかなり増えていたが、元の下北沢の雰囲気はそのままだった。自由が丘よりも、若者層が多いように思う。
今朝は、蒸しパンのようなチョコレート系のパンに、糖分制限チョコを挟んで食べた。硬いものをときどき食べることは、歯や歯茎にいいのではないかとこのごろ感じる。とくに歯茎は締まるのではないだろうか？

Walking in Shimokitazawa

ジューサーの問題

試しにimagemagickを使ったコマンドラインでの画像処理について聞いてみた。
正しく答えるし、解説もあるので便利。続けて質問すると、前の質問の内容を覚えている。エクセルの関数もすぐに出てくるらしい。
